Went for breakfast before visiting the local morning market followed by visits to the various temples in Chiang Rai.
The afternoon visit to the Chiang Rai beach proved to be a disappointing one. The fabled romantic hotspot proved to be no more than some restaurants by the riverside. I left just after 5 minutes.
As I walked past the clock tower, there was a dazzling lighting display and the entire tower itself kept changing colours. Quite a spectacle with many onlookers.
Dinner was settled at the morning market I went to earlier. Hawaiian pizza, fried chicken, waffles and pineapples. All for 134B only.
Brought all the food to the Roma bar and finished it all there with some beer.
